You can make a shit load of money working in Centers, but the idiots you meet in them almost make living on unemployment seem better

All of the companies listed under "Top Law Firms" and "Top Investment Banks" probably have 24 hour word processing centers.
I don't know any Center that is using freelancers now, at one time Warburg Dillon Read and CS First Boston had in house freelance things for temps.
The thing about freelancing and dealing with a Clients directly is that they actually want to pay you LESS than you can get going through temp agencies.
In almost every case that I've met someone bragging about freelancing, they have always made less money than they could make through temp agencies.
I have my own business and I can get (and have gotten) my own clients. But, for simple bullshit (short term) work, like word processing, I'd rather go through a temp agency; I don't want to deal with the idiots in Centers, not unless it is something long term and for a whole lot of money.
